Itinerary
The tour begins with the pickup of participants from their accommodations in San Pedro de Atacama and a short transfer to the Valley of Mars, also known as the Valley of Death, located a few kilometers from the city. During the journey, the guide provides an introduction to the equipment and basic sandboarding techniques, ensuring that all participants are prepared for the activity.
Once at the Valley of Mars, participants are taken to the imposing sand dunes that create the perfect setting for sandboarding. The necessary equipment, such as sandboarding boards and helmets, is provided, along with instructions on how to safely glide down the dunes. Beginners receive a brief lesson and practice before venturing onto the larger slopes.
During the sandboarding session, participants have the opportunity to glide several times, enjoying the speed and adrenaline as they descend the dunes.
