Ica, Paracas and Huacachina Oasis ~ Full Day
Itinerary
Day 1: Pisco – Paracas – Huacachina
We begin our day departing towards the bay of Paracas, the starting point of the largest marine reserve in Peru and the second largest in South America.
We arrive at the charming district of Paracas-Pisco and head to the “El Chaco” dock.
We board comfortable speedboats with life jackets to explore the Ballestas Islands. Along the way, we admire “The Candelabra,” a structure similar to the Nazca Lines. The Ballestas Islands are rock formations that host an impressive variety of seabirds such as guanay, pelicans, cormorants, and more.
We return to the El Chaco port for free time and lunch (not included) with the option to purchase souvenirs.
We then move to the city of Ica to visit the El Catador winery. Here, we will taste quality wines and piscos, along with local delicacies like chocotejas, alfajores, and jams.
We continue to the mystical Huacachina Lagoon and enjoy its legend. You will have free time to take photos and buy souvenirs before participating in the exciting experience of sandboarding and tubulars.
Finally, we return to your hotel at the agreed time.
